Transforming Ideas into Products, Products into Startups, and Startups into Impact.
Vardhaman’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Wing (V-IEW) has developed a vibrant innovation ecosystem that integrates academic learning, community engagement, research, and entrepreneurship. Through initiatives such as the EPICS framework under the Community Innovation & Transformation (CIT) wing, students are encouraged to identify real-world problems and develop practical technological solutions. Over the years, this ecosystem has generated significant outcomes in innovation, research, startup development, and entrepreneurial growth, reflecting the institution’s commitment to innovation-driven engineering education.
To further strengthen this ecosystem, the CIE regularly organizes innovation and entrepreneurship activities including bootcamps, hackathons, startup expos, innovation challenges, design thinking workshops, expert talks, mentoring sessions, investor interactions, outreach programs, and entrepreneurship awareness initiatives. Signature programs such as IDE Bootcamps, Startup Carnival, Product Expo, Innovators’ Day, and Pitch Verse Startup Competitions provide students and faculty with opportunities to ideate, innovate, prototype, and showcase their entrepreneurial capabilities.
Students and faculty actively participate in both in-house and external innovation events conducted by premier institutions, industries, incubation centres, and government organizations. Participation in programs such as Smart India Hackathon (SIH), startup challenges, innovation festivals, and technology showcases has enabled them to gain valuable exposure and present innovative solutions to real-world problems. The institution has consistently earned awards, recognitions, grants, startup support, and multiple accolades at regional and national levels, bringing pride and recognition to the college while strengthening its innovation and entrepreneurship culture.
